Our Story

I have spent years building websites for other people, crafting digital experiences for businesses and brands. But Even After isn’t just another project—it’s personal.

It started on a highway in Michigan, in the middle of a winter storm. I was driving home, visibility was near zero, and the roads were unforgiving. In a split second, I narrowly avoided a bad accident. It was one of those moments that makes time stop, where the fragility of everything hits you all at once.

My first thought wasn't about work or deadlines. It was about my wife and my new daughter. I was terrified by the thought that if I hadn't made it home, I would have missed a lifetime of birthdays, anniversaries, and quiet moments. I realized I had no way to ensure they would still hear my voice or know my love on those days if I wasn't there to say it myself.

That fear sparked an idea. I wanted to build something that would let me—and others like me—send love into the future. I wanted to create a way to record messages, schedule them for specific milestones, and guarantee they get delivered, no matter what.

Even After is for the new parents, the grandparents, the partners, and anyone who wants peace of mind. It’s for knowing that no matter how suddenly we might leave, our voice and our love will still be there when it matters most.
